It's been a busy January here at InsightAsia. With an ever-growing client base, new team members and plenty of exciting research projects both underway and on the horizon, we’ve had a great start to the year!
InsightAsia Philippines have been particularly busy, recently moving into a beautiful new office space. And now we’re really excited to be welcoming a new Qualitative Research Director to InsightAsia Philippines… say hello to Eloi Rivera!
With more than a decade of qualitative research experience in the Philippines and the Middle East, Eloi previously worked as a teacher, before realising her passion really lay in qualitative research and the quest for human insight.
Initially joining Nielsen Philippines, Eloi went on to develop her research, technical and managerial experience overseas at YouGov in Dubai.
During her years in Dubai, Eloi led international research studies across the Middle East for companies including Jo Malone, Samsung, Mars chocolate and the Jumeirah hotel chain. On her return to Manila, Eloi worked as a freelancer, mainly servicing Globe Telecom, Fonterra and OLX. In addition to enjoying exploratory qualitative research, Eloi has developed expertise and a keen interest in usability testing.
Eloi joins us at InsightAsia Philippines to lead qualitative research projects throughout the region. She commented on her new role:
“What drew me to be a part of InsightAsia was its Asian origins, its manageable size and its widespread Asian presence. Asia is currently on the cusp of some great transitions, and I want to be a part of this.”
In her own time, Eloi enjoys hobbies as diverse as singing, dancing, writing, and making terrariums! Her singing has seen her tour Europe to join various festivals, and she is currently writing a children’s book.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the rest of the InsightAsia team to be part of the Asia boom,” she added. “And hopefully, I’ll see the best version of myself as a market researcher here.”
