The InsightAsia Spirit 

Quality research output demands a committed, skilled, and experienced professional team. 

InsightAsia's personnel and selection standards are rigorous.  We want to hire not just the best researchers in each market, but also talented individuals who share the 'InsightAsia Spirit': 

They must:

Be dedicated individuals who work and deliver with passion
Be solution focused with a real 'can do' attitude
Be people of real integrity who are always honest with their clients…and themselves
Be congenial and pleasant to work with…especially when the going gets tough.  (A sense of humour always helps!)

Our executives usually come from top universities in their respective markets.  Most have basic degrees in statistics or psychology. Many also have postgraduate degrees in Marketing or an MBA, frequently earned at an institution outside their own country. 

Most are at least bi-lingual, reflecting the diversity of their backgrounds and nationalities. (At last count, InsightAsia's executives were drawn from eleven different nationalities - Australian, British, Chinese, Dutch, Filipino, German, Indian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Singaporean and Thai - bringing rich experience across countries and cultures to our clients.) 

Our senior personal almost invariably have experience with major global research agencies.


Making the Best Better
We go to great lengths to find the best talents…and believe we are generally successful.  But we don't stop there.  An important part of our culture is focused on helping the best become even better.  To this end:
We encourage and expect everyone to actively share their knowledge and experience with others as an on-going on-the-job activity.
We provide a variety of in-house training initiatives…and are steadily expanding these in line with our overall business growth.
We actively support external learning.  As part of this, we make on-line courses from a leading American university available to our staff.
We seek wherever possible to promote from within. Including transferring individuals to other InsightAsia offices in the region as and when opportunities arise.
We provide frequent opportunities for people to work with others from outside their own market and/or on projects emanating from outside.
We recognise and brightest and best with "Insight Spirit" awards every year…eagerly sought after and a source of great pride to the recipients.
